When you choose DMK Windows Ltd, you deal directly with me, the owner. This ensures a personal, "no-pressure" experience from the initial survey to the final installation. Unlike larger firms, I don't use high-pressure sales tactics or subcontract my fitting teams.

For the majority of our repair and installation services, the answer is no. We believe in earning your trust, which is why we typically don't require any payment until the job is completed to your satisfaction.

The only exception is for larger-scale projects – such as a full house of new windows –where we require a 20% deposit upon booking. This secures your installation date and covers the initial ordering of your custom-made frames and materials.

For repair work, we accept cash or instant bank transfers upon completion. For larger installations, we accept bank transfers and all major credit/debit cards. To keep our prices as competitive as possible for our local customers, we prefer bank transfers for all transactions.

Yes! At DMK Windows, we offer a unique digital visualisation service. We take a photo of your home and overlay your chosen window or door style, helping you make the perfect design choice for your property's character.

Yes. Removal and environmentally responsible disposal of all old frames and glass are included in our initial quote. We leave the site clean and ready for use.

New Installations: All window and door frames come with a 10-year manufacturer’s guarantee, and all double-glazed units (glass) are covered for 5 years against seal failure or fogging. Repairs: All mechanical parts, including handles, hinges, and gearboxes, are guaranteed for 2 years. Should any mechanical part fail after the 2-year warranty period, we will return to replace the faulty part at minimum cost, charging only for the component itself and zero for the labour.

FENSA (Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme) is a government-authorised scheme that monitors building regulation compliance for replacement windows and doors. Being FENSA registered means:

• Automatic Compliance: We certify that your installation meets all UK Building Regulations, including thermal performance (energy efficiency) and safety.

• Essential Paperwork: You will receive a FENSA certificate via email after the job is completed. You must have this certificate to sell your property in the future. It is advisable to print this up for safe keeping.

• Quality Assurance: FENSA-registered companies are regularly inspected to ensure high standards of workmanship and the use of compliant materials.

• Insurance Backed Guarantee: As a FENSA-registered company, upon registration of your job, you will automatically receive an Insurance Backed Guarantee (IBG). This provides an extra layer of security, as your warranty remains protected even in the event that our business is no longer trading.
